Title: Roll Credit

Meaning: "It's a real freak of a
song. It was writen on piano and translated to guitar, which explains why it sounds
different. When we were in New Zealand we went in this elevator and the company
who made it was Schindler, and their logo was Schindlers Lift. That got me
thinking something about a lift as a concentration camp, the song is about
being trapped in a lift. This businessman on his way out of his office to go to
his family and he gets stuck in an elevator for hours and he thinks about where
he's going and he realises he doesn't want to go home to his family and kids,
he's in a lift and has to rethink his life. It has personal resonance but it's
not a personal account." - Paul
Recorded: Recorded
at York St Studios in New Zealand in February 1997. Produced by Brian Paulson.

Lyrics:
Down the hall it's the same
Counting the footsteps
Taking your deep breaths
Such a suspicious calm
A day is a day
Home is home
And everything
Everything is as it seems
Regardless of you and me
Images linger on
Even after it's gone
Mirrors make you go on forever
Inside these rooms nothing ever ends
It can glow on your face
Drive you insane
If you want me to take all those things down
Throw them away
You never liked them anyway
You've got your hammer out
And you're hammering down
The corners at last
But you're laying claim
Gathering everyone around
So you can drive them
Drive them away
If you want me to gather everyone around
Send them away
You never liked them anyway
A day is a day
Home is home
Everything
